The leader in Hispanic health & wellness content, HolaDoctor.com with Salud Univision. As VP of design & usability my responsibilities were many including everything related to web design, reviewing user habits and how to improve content engagement through UX improvements as well as constant research & product development. As design lead I got to work on a myriad of projects and I'd like to highlight some standouts.

I. Virtual Medical Office for HolaDoctor and Novartis

The purpose of the VMO was to create an interactive experience that educated and familiarized our users with getting the most of their doctor's visit. This was a huge project that involved creating virtual medical office sets that represented: reception, doctor's office & examination room. Scripts were written, actors were hired and locations were scouted for the 3 day production. I worked side by side the actors and photographer to ensure we were nailing each piece as well as getting the angles that would work best within the virtual environments.

Virtual Medical Office explored everything you needed to know for your next doctor's visit.

Each environment would have hotspots, identified by visual cues, that when a user interacted with them, relevant info would appear in a small modal window with options to continue reading, view video or slideshow.

The realistic environments lent themselves to be highly attractive to sponsors extending interest beyond for our next big project, the Interactive Health Insurance Center.

II. Health Insurance / Education & Acquirement

This next project jumps into a highly relevant topic for US Hispanics, the need for healthcare due to the ACA (Obamacare). Our mission at HolaDoctor had always been very clear; to provide the content and tools that help Hispanics learn about and maintain healthy lifestyles.

The HolaDoctor Interactive Health Insurance Center, where visitors may learn about and purchase health insurance.

We also created campaigns in selected markets where we offered insurance purchasing in a more direct manner, through paid promotion, advertisements and SEO campaigns. For this effort we created a series of landing pages, each paired up with a partner representing that market's health insurance most popular provider.
