One of the many great projects I got to work on was for the Univision Farmacia site. A partnership between Univision, Envision Rx and HolaDoctor, I lead the design of all original and current stages of the site created with the intent to support, inform and register users of the program. Before I get into design specifics I think it might be best to explain:
Univision Farmacia is a Pharmacy Discount Card program that serves to meet the needs of underinsured or uninsured consumers (14.MM Latinos in the US) The program is 100% free, no immigration status issues, consumers may save up to 85% on medications, these include both generic as well a selection of branded medications. The card is accepted at over 55,000 pharmacies nationwide including chains such as Walgreens, CVS, Kmart and thousands of independent pharmacies. 100% HIPPA Compliant.
Originally the site was originally only meant to serve as a host to an FAQ and an online registration form to obtain membership. Newly redesigned, the site launched on late August 2015. Redesign included responsive adapting automatically to desktop, tablet or mobile without requiring programming a parallel site as in the previous version.
